Electrical Engineer
We currently are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with Rockwell PLC Programming Ability; additional details and qualifications following.
The incumbent will work onsite in Aurora, Ohio, or may also work directly at the customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio.
In this position you will get your hands dirty and spend time at client's sites.
You will be responsible for the design of control and power systems along with the construction installation packages.
You will work with voltages from 24 volts DC up to 480 volts AC.
You will work with a talented group of people using the latest technologies to provide innovative electrical and control solutions for our clients.
Specific Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer will include:
Design of control and power systems along with the construction installation packages Work with voltages from 24 volts DC up to 480 volts AC Work with a talented group of people using the latest technologies to provide innovative electrical and control solutions for our clients Designing control cabinets that will include Programmable logic controllers, System rack installations, Power and grounding requirements and other analog and discrete control wiring Motor starters and variable frequency drives Designing size control cabinet breakers, fusing, wiring, overloads, starters, drives, and other conduits based on cabinet and field device loads Performing site walk downs for electrical, power, process piping, and instrumentation Specifying field instruments, transmitters, control/discrete valves, and other installation requirements Develop contractor installation bid packages and supervise field construction Travel required:
5% to 40% Responsible for design, implementation, and configuration of automation systems; projects range from product test stands to plant wide integrated automation systems controlling every aspect of a process, such as:
Design, installation and programming of systems to control production, processing or plant operations.
Designing and loading instructions into programmable logic controllers Designing control cabinets that will include Programmable logic controllers, System rack installations, power and grounding requirements or motor starters and variable frequency drives Electrical Engineer Requirements:
Electrical Engineering or related degree and Rockwell PLC Programming Ability Experience working directly onsite at clients PLC knowledge /automation knowledge Electrical Controls Design Preferred, Industrial Machinery Panel Design Preferred, NFPA 70 and 79 Electrical Standards Control hardware applications such as Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon and Emerson components, preferred Hands on electrical and or mechanical experience or hobbies Why Kelly ?Kelly puts you in charge of your career, with access to cutting edge projects and technologies in industry leading organizations.
