CNC Machinist
Your Responsibilities
Summary:
Operate machining centers (not to exceed two).
Organize cell work flow and properly plan necessary machining sequence(s) for optimal equipment effectiveness.
Meet inspection requirements for compliance to the appropriate company drawings, customer drawings, referenced specifications and other production systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Ability to organize workflow and properly plan necessary machining sequencesSelects appropriate program for part or writes program for partLifts and mounts work piece onto tablesSelect and install tooling into tool posts, turrets or indexing heads and automatic tool change magazine, in sequence specified on process sheetObserves numerical display on control panel and compares with data on print sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates and speeds on machining cutsAccurately completes appropriate production related paperworkProperly maintains machine(s) to insure maximum machine performanceMaintains a neat and orderly work area and performs all duties and operations in a safe manner in accordance with all company rules and safety procedures Your ProfileQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Technical -Must be skilled in blue print reading and GD&T.
Mathematical - math skills must include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals.
Must be knowledgeable of metric conversions.
Knowledge and ability to apply basic algebra, plane geometry.
Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software including applications supported and used by Company as required for this job ex.
Mp2 and Production Data recording.
Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and further problem-solving and decision-makingEDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous machining experience required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
